First wash: dry clean or a gentle cold soak with salt. After that, hand wash in cold water with mild soap and dry in shade. Natural dyes soften beautifully over time.

Small irregularities, a faint smudge or a slight shift between blocks, are the signature of hand printing, not flaws.
